Configuring Email Alerts on PTF

Configuring Email Alerts on PTF

To configure email alerts you must configure like the following:

Outgoing fields should contain details of your ISP (internet service provider) and not gmail. For example if you have Internet access from Comcast then you should enter smtp.comcast.net with port 465 or mail.bigpond.com for BigPond and similarly username and password should be for your ISP account. Call your ISP and ask them about these details.

At times for example in Hotmail (owned by Microsoft) it screens all emails using some kind of 'SmartScreen'. This screener that was blocking the email messages (even though you had told it not to). In such cases we would suggest you to change your email where alerts are to be delivered from PTF. For more information contact us at support@pairtradefinder.com
