Day trading with PTF

PTF is not designed for intraday trading. It is designed for swing trading pairs and a holding between 1 to 3 weeks minimum.  PTF PRO does update all prices intraday, however, either real-time or delayed depending on the datafeed in use (currently we offer Interactive Brokers API through Trader Workstation, DTN IQFeed (third-party subscription) and delayed data from Yahoo! Finance).  So your Entries, Exits and PnL Alerts are based on Intraday price action.  However, the average trade duration of our Top 50 U.S. Equities Pairs is about 8-12 days.  That said, if you are holding a portfolio of 30 open pair trades, these will likely generate 2-3 signals to trade every day.
